Traffic intensity on roads outside urban areas is average. At border crossings on the North Macedonian side, there are no longer any delays for entering and exiting the country.
LAMM recommends regulated speeds, respecting established traffic signs and careful driving of vehicles, especially on roads through valleys, river valleys and gorges, where there is a possibility of landslides.
This applies especially to the sections Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Dibër – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kocani – Delchevo.
The Ohrid – Resen highway through the Galičica National Park has been opened to traffic for vehicles up to 3.5 tons since 17.04.2025.
