Saw this on Hacker News the other day (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539296). I though it was neat discussing that we can (sort of) terraform earth right now with Beavers, Oysters, etc, and it talks about what we need in the future to build out the systems to scale it
So I guess the central question for the future is:Â **How do we scale successful environmental pilot projects?**Â

The irony that Herbert wrote Dune while working on a government environmental / terra forming project in Oregon is apparently lost on the author (or whatever AI spat it out.)
