Behind GRK Ohrid’s triumph was a phenomenal performance by goalkeeper Gradimir Chanevski.

In the first game, Chanevsky blocked 22 of his 33 opposing shots and recorded a huge 66.6% save percentage, perfectly blocking HC Vaki’s attack.

Ohrid allowed only four goals late in the game, with HC Vaki’s field goal success rate of 28%. In particular, Chanevsky showed off his tremendous defense ability by blocking all three attempts with a 7-meter draw.

In the second round, Ohrid also secured a comfortable 38-21 win to secure his place in the third round. While Chanevsky rested, the replaced goalkeepers also did their bit. Bojan Blazhevski made nine saves (42.9%) and Bojan Krstevski made seven saves (43.8%), proving his team’s solid goal.

GRK Ohrid qualified for the next round with a one-sided victory amid enthusiastic support from home fans.
