A new name is emerging in Kosovar basketball: Diar Libusha. Born in 2009 and part of KB Borea, he is one of the most interesting talents of the new generation. At 2.02 meters tall, Libusha plays as a forward (wing), but can easily adapt to other positions thanks to his versatile style.
Popular site Eurohopes, which deals with evaluating young talents in European basketball, has this time singled out the Kosovar boy, Diar Libusha, by writing an article about him.
In the last event where he participated in the European Championship for the U16 age group (Division B), according to Eurohope, he left a strong impression, and could be the next name to continue his career in FIBA competitions.

Libusha has an elegant and calm game that gives the feeling that everything comes naturally to him. He controls the ball with ease and shows an innate instinct for the game, a quality that sets him apart from his peers.
According to Eurohope, Libusha still has room for physical improvement. Narrow shoulders and underdeveloped muscles indicate that his body is in the process of growing. But if this development goes hand in hand with technical progress, Libusha could become very competitive at the highest level.

At the moment, he feels more comfortable with the ball in his hands, which makes him more of a creator than a finisher. His efficiency is not yet at the right level, but that comes naturally for a player of his age who is learning to fully exploit his talent.
Analysts have often compared him to Neoklis Avdalas, the young Greek star – but as a less athletic version. A comparison that speaks volumes about the technical potential and intelligence in the game that Libusha is already displaying.

At KB Borea, the coaches believe he can become one of the most promising players in Kosovar basketball.
With work, discipline, and physical development, Diar Libusha has everything he needs to move to the next level – perhaps even beyond the borders of Kosovo. /Telegraph/
