Paul Pogba last played football in September 2023 and the former Manchester United midfielder’s return has now been pushed back again.
In March, Paul Pogba was cleared to play football again after serving a suspension for breaching doping regulations.
After considering his options, Pogba signed for Monaco to complete his return, but the 32-year-old midfielder is yet to make an appearance for the French outfit.
Former Monaco boss Adi Hutter hinted that Paul Pogba could be fit to face Angers on Saturday, but it has now been confirmed that the World Cup-winning midfielder will have to postpone his return.

Jesse Lingard told Pogba to ‘hurry up’ and return to the pitch after his former United teammate was spotted in Monaco training this month.
But manager Thiago Scuro has now confirmed that Pogba has suffered a minor thigh injury which means a comeback in October is no longer possible.
As quoted by SportsFR, Scuro said: “We thought he would be available for the next match, but that’s no longer the case.”
Pogba has suffered a “muscle strain in his right thigh quadriceps” which could leave the midfielder sidelined for several weeks.
Man United escape injury problems in international break
While the international break has not been kind to Pogba in terms of injuries, Ruben Amorim can breathe a sigh of relief that his players appear to have avoided any major setbacks.
With a clash against arch-rivals Liverpool this Sunday, it seems Amorim will have a near-full squad to choose from.
There has been a positive injury update around Noussair Mazraoui meaning he could return for the trip to Anfield.
Lisandro Martinez is pushing to return, although it seems the Argentine defender still has a few weeks remaining before he is available to return.
Ayden Heaven did pick up an injury for England’s U20s this week, but Amorim will have plenty of depth in his defensive options even without the 19-year-old.
