It takes something truly jaw-dropping to stand out in Monaco.
This week, a billionaire did just that, unloading a BAC Mono straight off a truck in the middle of the city.
The clip, posted to Instagram by Luxoeus, shows the single-seat supercar rolling onto the street like a Formula racer on holiday.
Crowds gathered instantly, watching as the car got acquainted with its new digs.

A $350,000 Formula-style weapon built for the road
The car in the video is a BAC Mono, hand-built in the UK and designed to look and feel like a Formula race car for the road.
It rides on a carbon-fiber chassis with matching carbon bodywork, keeping the total weight down to about 1,223lbs.
Behind the driver sits a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter Mountune four-cylinder engine producing roughly 340hp.
That setup gives the Mono its impressive performance figures – 0-60 in around 2.5 seconds and a top speed near 168mph.
In the clip, it’s rolled gently off a truck and onto a Monaco street.
Even standing still, the car looks every bit like a Formula racer that wandered off the track.
The BAC Mono joins car-spotting heavyweights
Monaco’s streets double as the world’s flashiest showroom, and the BAC Mono just joined elite company.
Earlier this year, photographers caught an ultra-rare Porsche 911 GT1 Carbonerre Manta slicing through traffic – a modern 911 reborn as a Le Mans tribute.
Half supercar, half quadbike, and entirely insane at $1.2 million.
And a while back, a $5.5 million Bugatti Divo turned the principality’s streets into its own car show.
Now the BAC Mono joins the mix, its single-seat layout standing out even in a city built on car-spotting excess.
It’s the kind of car you drive when practicality is someone else’s problem.
Fast, loud, and completely over-the-top.Â
And in Monaco, that’s exactly what you want.
