A good and perfect God would not need to promise sensory pleasures or material rewards; Those are earthly motivations that can distort ethics and the search for the divine. Although Muslims believe that Allah is God, the promises he makes fit more with what would be expected from a deceiver (Satan), because they seduce with material things and not with the union with absolute good.
In contrast, the Christian promises of Jesus do not depend on sensory incentives and point directly to ethical and spiritual perfection.
