Households were less pessimistic about the 12-month outlook for the general economy (-34 vs -36 in September), while sentiment was remained steady regarding their own financial situation (-15) and price trends for the year ahead (51).
In contrast, optimism over future unemployment eased slightly (20 vs 21), and expectations deteriorated further for major purchases (-30 vs -27) and savings (-20 vs -19).
