On 23 October 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili delivered remarks at a ceremonial reception dedicated to the National Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Republic Day.

In his address, Deputy Minister Khvtisiashvili, on behalf of the Government and the people of Georgia, extended warm congratulations to the friendly people of Kazakhstan, wishing them peace, prosperity and continued progress.

He highlighted that, over the decades, the friendship and partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan have developed steadily, grounded in the principles of equality, mutual respect, and cooperation.

Mr. Khvtisiashvili emphasized the importance of the frequent high-level political dialogue between the two countries, which both sides attach great significance to. In this context, he noted the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, to Kazakhstan in 2025, which provided a substantial impetus to the further deepening of Georgia-Kazakhstan bilateral cooperation.

Kazakh businesses are steadily expanding their investments in Georgia’s economy, while close cooperation continues in the fields of transport, transit and port infrastructure. We are successfully working together within the frameworks of TRACECA, the Middle Corridor, and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) program,” noted Mr. Khvtisiashvili.

The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to Malik Murzalin, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, and to the entire Embassy staff for their efforts to strengthen the friendship between the two countries. He expressed confidence that the partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan will continue to grow even stronger in the years ahead.
