The 1X Neo can do the dishes, clean the kitchen, even fold laundry. Our senior personal tech columnist, Joanna Stern, spent time with the humanoid—and its creator—to see what it can really do and how much still requires a human operator’s help.
Having to let a stranger into your home to control your helper robot and let them observe anything and everything you do is insanely creepy. There is no company that deserves this level of trust.

It looks like they’re just using an oculus quest three which would be cool because that looks like it opens the possibility that you could remotely control your own bot.
If I can sit on my ass and wash the dishes remotely through an oculus quest with a robot, that is still a hell of a lot more doable than having to get up and do it.

I wonder how many takes they did before they got one where the robot didn’t break a glass or tip over.
