Pulp have announced a string of six dates that will take them across Australia and New Zealand at the beginning of 2026.
The Sheffield band revealed the news via their social media on November 3rd, telling their fans Down Under that they “deserve more”. As such, the group will take to stages across Auckland, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney over the course of late February and early March next year.
It comes off the back of a highly successful and resurgent year for the classic Britpop band, whose comeback album More received critical acclaim upon its release back in June, and most recently saw them nominated for the Mercury Prize. It marked Pulp’s first musical offering in some 24 years, following We Love Life in 2001 and the tragic death of their original bassist, Steve Mackey, in 2023.
The upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour will be marked by a number of special moments, such as the concluding shows of the stint on March 6th and 7th at the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt. Not only this, but their show in Adelaide on February 27th will be part of the Adelaide Festival, meaning it is a free event.
Highlighted by their recent success with the Mercury nomination for More, Pulp are remaining as vibrant and exciting as they ever were, having toured the UK during the summer, complete with a surprise slot at Glastonbury, before heading to the United States for a string of dates in September.
Most recently, they celebrated the milestone 30th anniversary of their seismic album Different Class, releasing a special reissue last month to celebrate the massive occasion, which frontman Jarvis Cocker said allowed it “to be heard in all its glory.”
General tickets for Pulp’s 2026 Australian and New Zealand tour will go on sale from November 7th at 9am local time, while pre-sale will be available from November 5th for fans who sign up to the band’s mailing list.
