Slovenia recorded a trade surplus of EUR 581.4 million in October 2025, reversing a deficit of EUR 358.4 million in the corresponding month last year.
Exports climbed 11.8% year-on-year to EUR 6,008.2 million, due to higher sales to both non-EU (18.9%) and EU (4.5%) countries.
Meanwhile, imports fell by 5.3% to EUR 5,426.8 million, due to lower purchase arrivals from both non-EU countries (-9.2%) and EU countries (-1.1%).
Considering January to September, the country posted a surplus of EUR 2,535.4 million, a significant shift from a deficit of EUR3,245.2 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
