Why is Meta completely dumped on pro-Russian fake accounts?

Hey, the situation in our country is what it is and the anti-Ukrainian narrative is getting stronger and stronger. I will ignore the topic of actual people who have one opinion or another. I want to focus more on fakes and/or bots. In my mindless masochism, I often read comments on Facebook under posts or articles about Ukrainians/Ukraine. I often pay attention to profiles and recently I decided that I would just start reporting the obviously fake ones. Out of approximately 10 reports, Facebook removed… 0 (in words: ZERO). Every time I get the same cliched formula and I wonder: why does Facebook do this?

Probably not due to lack of technological possibilities, because it’s not rocket science. Someone will say that bots drive traffic. Except:

a) the bot will not click on the ad and I suspect that it is advertisers who mainly maintain this abomination and parody of a social networking site.

b) the bot has no data that can be sold. There is no information relevant from a business point of view, so there is no profit here either.

c) FB already has a reputation as a place where a lot of traffic is not generated by people. This probably affects my willingness to use it (for example, I am considering deleting my account, and the only thing that keeps me there is my presence in groups).

Zuckerberg has been dabbling in martial arts lately, and I don’t know if one day he got hit in the head too many times, but it’s hard for me to explain this lackluster topic in any other way.

For a long time I considered the idea of ​​introducing the need to verify the account with proof, but maybe this is really the only option?
