Prosecution: No element of a criminal offense – The girl from Kosovo is suspected of being thrown out of the building where she was renting

The Tetovo Basic Prosecution Office announced that the death of 25-year-old DS, from Kosovo, does not have elements of a criminal offense. However, the investigative body announces that they are working intensively to clarify the case and the reasons that led the 25-year-old to end her life.
“The acting prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecution Office in Tetovo yesterday conducted an expertise at the place where the lifeless body of a young woman was found, as well as in the rented apartment where she had been staying. All actions are being taken to investigate the causes of death with detailed checks and expertise at the scene, although the initial data and traces on the ground do not indicate that this is a death as a result of a criminal offense,” the Prosecution Office says.
But despite the fact that no elements of a criminal offense have been established, the prosecutor in charge ordered an autopsy of the girl’s body. The 25-year-old DS was from Gjakova, while in Tetovo, she was attending her fourth year of studies.
According to Alsat television sources within the Tetova Internal Affairs Sector, the deceased had previously attempted to end her life several times, and is suspected of having consumed sedatives, which was also ascertained during the expertise at the scene.
The Kosovo embassy in our country also reacted to the case in question last night.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje was notified a few hours ago by the Tetovo Regional Police that today, at around 18:00, a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo was found without signs of life in a neighborhood of this city. The Embassy immediately established contact with the relevant police authorities and is closely following the development of the case,” the embassy’s announcement states.
The lifeless body of 25-year-old DS was found last night in the parking lot of an apartment near the Green Market in Tetovo, and it is suspected that she was thrown from the building where she lived.
