“This is ‘Banjska 2’”: Lawyer publishes footage of Vukashinovic’s car hijacked by Serbia

Lawyer Ivan Ninic has published on his X account a photo of the destroyed car of Milan Vukashinovic from Leposavic, who was injured by Serbian gendarmerie forces last weekend under unclear circumstances near the village of Jelakce, and was transferred to a hospital in Nis, where doctors are fighting for his life.
Ninic said that “Vukashinovic was undoubtedly shot with a Serbian bullet, like an animal.”
Along with these claims, he also attached photos of the destroyed car belonging to Vukashinović, as he called on the international community to react because, according to him, “this is Banjska 2”.
“Milan’s car, which was destroyed during the attack on him, was found today! I call on EULEX and KFOR to conduct an investigation at the scene, but for the international community to react, because this is ‘Banjska 2’,” said lawyer Niniq.
Our security institutions have said that Vukashinović, a Kosovo Serb, was shot inside Kosovo territory by Serbian military forces, and then kidnapped.
He was then reportedly transferred first to Prokuplje and then to Niš, Serbia, where doctors are reportedly fighting for his life.
According to Ninic, Vukashinovic was shot multiple times in the back, and as he claimed, people wearing military uniforms, but without any insignia, in jeeps without license plates, were allegedly involved in all of them. The lawyer also raises the question of whether anyone else, besides members of the Serbian Army, took part in the shooting, which took place on November 1 at around 16:00 p.m.
The injured man’s family suspects there is an active effort to prevent and obstruct the evidence.
