Remember the moment when Avengers: Endgame released in theaters? It was surreal, right? The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe coming together to beat the ultimate villain, Thanos. But Marvel didn’t stop there because there were a lot of things still needed to be shown, and it introduced new characters. Now, the time is near when viewers get a chance to see every superhero in the MCU coming forward to face none other than Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. It has already been established that a lot of old and new characters will be making an appearance in the aforementioned flick, and one of them is Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
Formally introduced in the MCU in Deadpool and Wolverine, Gambit will be seen playing a more pivotal role in the upcoming film. Tatum, on many occasions, has revealed how lucky he is to be a part of the MCU and can’t wait to show viewers what his character is capable of. Although there’s still time for Doomsday to arrive in theaters, the 45-year-old actor is making sure that the world knows what they are about to witness.

Speaking in an interview with Deadline, Tatum opened up about the MCU and noted that the forthcoming Avengers movie might be the biggest “of the next ten years.” He said, “Look, everyone in the world is going to see this movie. It’s hard to say this because, I mean, you hear these things and go, ‘Of course’. But they’ve topped themselves every time. This will be the biggest movie of next year and maybe even the next 10 years.”
Furthermore, the Roofman star stated that the Russo Brothers have outdone themselves with Doomsday, and he is in “awe” of everything they have done with the upcoming superhero flick.

Avengers: Doomsday marks the return of Joe and Anthony Russo to the MCU since they directed Avengers: Endgame. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the first glimpse of the upcoming film, which will finally be shown in December 2025. Gambit is not the only X-Men member who will be featured in Doomsday, as several members from the original X-Men franchise will also be returning to reprise their respective roles.
It would be exciting to see the new Avengers and their fellow superhero friends coming face-to-face with a formidable villain like Doom. Will it manage to create an impact like Endgame, or would it be much bigger than that? Let’s wait and watch.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
