RV (49) from Plužine, for whom a red warrant was in force, was arrested in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As announced by the Police Directorate, he was arrested on an international arrest warrant issued by the Interpol NCB Podgorica.
“Through intensive exchange of operational information and data between the targeted search teams of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the named person was located and deprived of his liberty. RV was sentenced to two years in prison by a final verdict of the Higher Court in Podgorica for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, and is being sought to serve the remaining part of the sentence of one year, 11 months and 29 days,” the police announced.
They explained that further communication between the judicial authorities of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will follow.
