The signing of the Indonesia European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) is believed by Foreign Minister Sugiono to contribute to improving Indonesia’s trade relationship with Croatia.

The Foreign Minister said, with closer cooperation and signing of the IEU-CEPA, the two foreign ministers affirmed their commitment to increase the trade value of the two countries, which reached US$144.8 million by 2024. Both are optimistic that the trade value will double.

“The I-EU CEPA agreement will contribute to the expansion and diversification of Indonesia’s trade in Croatia, as well as open up opportunities for cooperation in the energy, digital economy and manufacturing sectors,” said Foreign Minister Sugiono, launching a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Monday, November 10.

In addition to trade, the two Foreign Ministers also discussed investment opportunities in the food sector, agricultural development, and industrial downstream as part of efforts to deepen economic cooperation.
