According to media reports The Guardian

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed discussions with the leaders of the United Kingdom and France about the possibility of deploying their troops on the border with Belarus to free up additional Ukrainian units. He disclosed these details in an interview with The Guardian.

In an interview with journalist Luke Harding, he noted that the topic was discussed during meetings with European partners and US representatives within the Coalition of the Willing.

The partners expressed their position: deployment of foreign troops would be possible only after a ceasefire or upon reaching a peace agreement.

Zelensky also emphasized that topics around weapons systems and prospects for EU or NATO membership regularly come up on the agenda. At the same time, the government must act cautiously: leaders do not want to provoke negative reactions from their citizens and do not want to lose political and financial support from partners if the stance drags the country into military action through unpopular steps.
