“At Debat Plus we are a big team. I have four journalists who collect and process information. Before each show we have meetings and discuss different issues. They inform me about the political contexts and they don’t miss a single detail. I can say that we have more debate within the Debat Plus team than on the show,” said Panduri.
We asked him about the difference between Albanian politicians from North Macedonia and Kosovo, and Panduri shared some things he has noticed.
“Macedonian politicians have a wider range, but they do not argue with passion like politicians in Kosovo and Albania do. They also know how to be closer than those in Kosovo and Albania, so they maintain social relations outside of broadcasts,” said Panduri.
As for the Albanian political scene and his possible engagement in politics, he said that he will never engage in politics, but will instead pursue journalism.
“The Albanian political scene has always interested me. I don’t see myself in politics, but I see myself doing journalism in politics for many years. I don’t find this tiring, it gives me adrenaline. The greatest wealth is when you know about developments and are one step ahead of political developments,” said Panduri.
Regarding the current political situation in Macedonia, he said that the situation of Albanians in the RMV depends on the political power of Macedonian parties.
“It’s about the rights of Albanians, differently with DUI, differently with VLEN. Albanians have little to do, as this depends on the Macedonian partner. A weak SDSM two years ago factored in DUI. A strong VN now, weak tomorrow, is not important, with an OBRM-PDUKM which has the numbers to form a government even without Albanians. It seems that a conflict between AKI and VN is brewing, which in fact is being instigated by someone else,” said Panduri. /Telegraph/
