  1. Never traveled in China but are those attractions opened for the non millionaire tourists? I always see great stuff there, but just didn’t know if was a common tourist area.

  2. Man that’s so sad, imagine this as one of the most pristine hikes but then the views get ruined by a glass elevator.

  3. It’s all part of China’s Golden Road initiative. It essentially invests so heavily in other countries that it basically owns them financially and can control other issues and get away with stupid shit like this.

It’s a chess game level initiative that is taking place all over the world, but mainly South East Asia and now the north countries in South America and southern countries in central America.

Idk if desaturating the After photos taken during a cloudy day to make it look uglier is necessary.

  5. Guess what the plans are for the Grand Canyon. The project is on hold, but if the orange liar has way, it will be built.

Proposed Project: The Grand Canyon Escalade was a proposed commercial development on the eastern rim that would have included a 1.6-mile gondola tram to take visitors to the river below, along with retail, restaurants, and other amenities

Well, happy i travelled there 7 years ago, not in the mood to visit it again when i see this. Sad.

  7. It’s disgusting how greed turns stunning natural places into tacky tourist traps. Instead of protecting nature, we destroy it for selfies and souvenir shops

  8. I guess the project has been halted for now as tourists and locals agree this looks horrible.

Damn I heard this was happening but didn’t think it would actually go through. I should have gone when I could have. Fucked up such an amazing spot

I’m ok with this, because I assume it was impossible to get down there without ropes before.

  12. If you think it is the most beautiful beach, you should come to Portugal and see the beaches, namely in Algarve, but also others.

All of the *very well engineered structures built in China in the past three decades* make me very confident in the stability of that structure.
