The North Macedonian national broadcaster MRT have confirmed that Nela Mančeska will represent the nation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 taking place in Tbilisi, Georgia on December 13 with ‘Miracle’.

Earlier this year, the broadcaster held an open call for auditions at the MRT Studios in Skopje. 13-year-old Nela Mančeska was chosen by the selection panel for her, ‘extraordinary vocal abilities, musical maturity and exceptional stage presence’.
‘Miracle’ is a song of hope and the bravery to see the light within ourselves. It was written and composed by the sibling songwriters, Lazar Cvetkoski with lyrics by Magdalena Cvetkoska. So far the duo have worked together on the North Macedonia entries of 2019 and last year’s entry, ‘Marathon’. Together the pair worked on the North Macedonian Eurovision entry for 2013. Separately Lazar has worked on numerous Eurovision entries for North Macedonia in 2014 and 2019 as well as working on Albania’s Eurovision entry in 2020.
North Macedonia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Back in 2003, North Macedonia made their Junior Eurovision debut with Marija and Viktorija and the entry, ‘Ti ne me poznavaš‘. In the inaugural contest they placed 12th – a position they know too well, with nine 12th places overall. The best results for the Balkan nation came in 2007 and 2008 with top 5 finishes for ‘Ding Ding Dong‘ and ‘Prati mi SMS‘.
Last year the duo of Ana and Aleksej were selected to represent North Macedonia in Madrid. During the contest they placed 16th with 54 points for their entry, ‘Marathon’
