Our yearly list of local turkey producers still has delicious birds for your family, and time to order them.

Here are seven places where you can order a Lancaster County turkey for Thanksgiving 2025.

ESBENSHADE TURKEY FARM

Where: 109 Esbenshade Road, Ronks.

What: Cage-free broad-breasted white turkeys with no growth hormones. Birds are fed an all-natural vegetarian diet mixture of corn and soy.

Whole turkey options: 12 to 32 pounds, sold fresh.

Cost: $6.10 per pound, according to their website.

How to order: Call 717-687-7631 to order on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also visit their website, esbenshadeturkeyfarm.net.

Pickup: Turkey pickup has been traditionally at the farm the week of Thanksgiving with preordered turkeys being highly recommended. (Call for the most updated information.)

BREAKAWAY FARMS

Where: Lancaster Central Market, 23 N. Market St. (Farm is in Mount Joy).

What: Local broad-breasted white turkeys from farms in Lititz and Elverson, as well as the farm’s own broad-breasted white turkeys raised organically on pasture without antibiotics and GMOs.

Whole turkey options: 10 to 30 pounds.

Also offering: Whole and split turkey breasts, stuffed turkey breasts, legs, wings and parts for making stock and gravy.

Cost: $4.50 per pound for the local turkeys, $8.50 per pound for Breakaway’s own turkeys.

LIVENGOOD FAMILY FARM

Where: 1648 Morningside Drive, Lancaster.

What: Broad-breasted white turkeys, pasture-raised outdoors and regularly rotated to fresh grass. They are free of antibiotics and supplemented with a locally produced, non-GMO mix. No corn or soy is included in supplemental feed.

Whole turkey options: Fresh, never-frozen birds from 12 to over 24 pounds. Options include whole or cut.

Cost: Birds require a $50 deposit and cost $6.15 per pound when picked up at the farm. Balance is due upon pickup.

LINDENHOF FARM

Where: 2170 Kirkwood Pike, Kirkwood.

What: Broad-breasted White turkeys and Heritage turkeys raised on pasture.

Whole turkey options: Heritage turkeys (6-15 pounds), small-to-jumbo white turkeys (8-25 pounds or larger).

Also offering: Whole breast (3-9 pounds); turkey leg and thigh (3-6 pounds) and turkey wings (2-4 pounds)

Cost: Birds require a $30 deposit. $5.50 per pound for white turkeys, and $10.95 per pound for heritage turkeys. Whole breasts are $11.50 per pound. Wings and quarters are $5 per pound.

MIRROR IMAGE FARMS

Where: 2365 River Road, Bainbridge.

What: Pasture raised, chemical-free, GMO-free turkeys.

Whole turkey options: Whole turkeys range from 10 to 22 pounds.

Cost: $5.95 per pound.

Pickup: There are a variety of dates and locations to pick up and those details can also be found online. Pickup days for frozen turkeys will be Saturdays Nov. 8, 15 and 22. Locations on the site are Rossmere Mennonite Church, 741 Janet Ave., Lancaster; Mirror Image Farm, 2365 River Road, Bainbridge; and Homefields Care Farm, 150 Letort Road, Millersville.

MEADOW RUN FARM

Where: 727 Rettew Mill Road, Lititz.

What: Beyond Organic Broad Breasted White turkeys raised on green pastures, moved frequently, supplemented with a chemical-free, GMO-free, corn and soy free, homegrown feed ration.

Whole turkey options: Frozen turkeys from 10 to 24 pounds. Birds are available now or for preorder. Customers are invited to stop by the farm store at their convenience.

Cost: $5.75 a pound.

NATURE RIDGE FARM

Where: 416 Strasburg Pike, Lancaster.

What: Pasture-raised, non-GMO broad-breasted white turkeys described on their website as “raised on regenerative pastures of flowing grasses and wildflowers. The turkeys are raised and moved bi-weekly on pastures and have portable farm-built structures for shelter.”

Whole turkey options: Fresh, whole turkeys available in a variety of sizes, from 11 to 25 pounds.

Cost: $4.50 per pound.
