Bulgaria’s return to Eurovision 2026 is approaching, and the first exclusive details about how the country’s representative will be chosen have already excited fans both locally and internationally!
Public broadcaster BNT has made it a priority to give a voice to both artists and the audience. To this end, it reached out to artists currently in the Top 50 of the Bulgarian Airplay charts, from which 10-15 performers will be selected to compete with their own songs in one or more televised shows.
According to our sources in Bulgaria, the final decision will be based on both the public vote and the opinion of a professional jury, ensuring that the chosen representative combines popularity with artistic quality.
Among the expected contestants are some of the biggest names in the Bulgarian music scene, including Dara, Mihaela Marinova, and Galena, raising expectations for a strong and memorable return to Eurovision.
As we mentioned in a previous article, the song itself will be selected internally at a later stage, after the representative has been chosen, which is expected to take place in January.
Stay tuned to Eurovisionfun, as the coming weeks promise to be exciting and will bring even more exclusive news about the competition and the artists vying for a spot in Vienna!
