Dardana Mehaj, director of the Central Pharmacy of UCCK, has clarified the situation surrounding the supply of hemodialysis materials, following concerns raised by regional hospitals and patients in several municipalities in the country.

On Debat Plus, Mehaj emphasized that despite the difficulties of recent days, treatment has not been interrupted at any point. According to Mehaj, the main challenge has been the delay in supply, but not the complete lack of materials.

“We have had difficulties with the supply of hemodialysis materials. However, it should be noted that no patient in the entire Kosovo has been left without receiving treatment with the hemodialysis service.”

“This is a vital service and is not available in private institutions. Regular supplies have begun to be supplied to all regional hospitals today, with a quantity until the next supply of all necessary materials,” Mehaj said on Debat Plus.
