MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – All Lithuanian trucks that had stuck in Belarus, along the access roads to the Kamenny Log and Benyakoni checkpoints were moved to designated parking areas as of yesterday, 13 November, BelTA learned from the State Customs Committee of Belarus.
The committee noted that a total of 1,243 Lithuanian trucks have been placed at the designated parking areas guarded by the customs authorities: 454 in Berestovitsa, 193 in Benyakoni, 379 in Kotlovka, 154 in Kamenny Log, and 63 in Smorgon.
The State Customs Committee added that the drivers do not necessarily have to remain in these vehicles. At the same time, appropriate living conditions have been created at the parking sites.
The Lithuanian vehicles will remain there until Lithuania resumes normal traffic through the Medininkai and Šalčininkai checkpoints.
