Kosovo National Team coach Franco Foda has already made up his mind about the formation he will choose for today’s (Saturday) match against Slovenia, as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Kosovo will play as a guest of Slovenia in the penultimate match of Group B, which is expected to take place at the “Stozice” stadium in Ljubljana starting at 20:45.

This match is very important for both national teams, but especially for Kosovo, which with a draw secures second place or the ‘play-off’ for qualification to the World Championship.

Thus, German coach Foda has already decided on the formation that is expected to play in the vital match against Slovenia.

According to Telegrafi sources, Foda will continue to trust the 3-5-2 formation, which in defense is transformed into 5-3-2, where some necessary changes will be part of it.

The first change will be in goal, where Amir Saipi will take the place of Arijanet Muric, who is absent due to bookings.

Captain Amir Rrahmani is expected to return to the team after his injury and will take his place from the first minute.

In addition to Rrahman, the defense trio is expected to include Albian Hajdari and Lumbardh Dellova, who is seen as favored over Fidan Aliti, while the wings will be covered by Mërgim Vojvoda and Dion Gallapeni.

The midfield will consist of Leon Avdullahu, Elvis Rexhbeçaj and Florent Muslija, while the attacking duo will be Vedat Muriqi and Fisnik Asllani.

Milot Rashica and Edon Zhegrova are expected to get their minutes during the second half. /Telegraph/
