This was taken 2 hours ago on a stone bridge

Tonight I came across a picture that hardly left me indifferent. A little girl, curled up in the corner, with an empty crate in front of her – like a silent scream in the night. I don’t know who she is, I don’t know where she’s from, but I know that no child deserves to spend their childhood like this.

This is not just a story of poverty. This is a mirror for all of us – for the state, society and the conscience that we are starting to lose. No one can help everyone, but we can all help someone.

Let’s not pass by such scenes as if they are “normal”. They are not. And they must not get up.
