The Ukrainian national football team continues its journey in the qualification for the 2026 World Cup: on Sunday, November 16, Serhiy Rebrov’s side will play its sixth qualifying match.
In Warsaw, the Ukrainians will face Iceland; the match will take place at the Polish Army Stadium. English referee Anthony Taylor will officiate the match, with kick-off at 19:00 Kyiv time.

According to the format for the 2026 World Cup qualification, 12 group winners will advance to the playoffs, and four additional European spots will be decided by the playoff results.
Twelve teams will participate in the playoffs: the runners-up in their groups, and also the four best Nations League group winners from 2024/25 who did not finish first or second in their groups.
