Life will force Poland and the Baltic States to build normal relations with Belarus and Russia — as noted by President Aleksandr Lukashenko during his meeting with Rostov Region Governor Yuri Slyusar on November 17th

The Head of State specifically spoke about the situation at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, saying, “Lithuanians are now shouting and demanding to open the border. But we never closed it. We have never treated Poles, Lithuanians or Latvians badly. They are our neighbours; what can we do? Yes, today they are being influenced from outside. You know, life will teach them… Eventually, other leaders will come to power who will recognise the interests of Belarus and Russia, as was the case before. Why lose these markets and such good relations?”
