I saw this overview of measured ranges at 100km/h (62mph) and 130km/h (81mph) vs. factory spec on https://www.autoreview.nl/autotests/id/30073/top-deze-elektrische-autos-kwamen-het-verst-in-onze-test
…and copied it into Excel and converted to miles 😉

I guess the Netherlands doesn’t have the [Escalade](https://www.edmunds.com/car-news/2025-cadillac-escalade-iq-tested-review.html) yet
Does the source mention the temperatures when it was tested?
Or if it’s summer or winter at least.
Oh look, all lies. Mostly all anyway.
They should all be flogged.
so what’s the average % difference between claimed and real range?
So, while it’s confirmed that Tesla inflates their numbers… I guess everyone else does too? Or are all of the claimed ranges under perfect factory conditions?
Anyone know the stats for the Honda EV?
I just want to say how awesome it is that there are so many electric cars on the market now.
BMW iX, which would be in the top 3-5, not included in the list. A somewhat commonly seen car, unlike a Renault (in the US), or even a Lucid.
Significant also because the vehicle gets closer to its factory claimed range than almost any other vehicle, perhaps even more than.
Never asked, but does starting and stopping effect range like it does MPG?
How did the Kia EV6 GT end up with more range than the regular EV6??? Unless the regular EV6 on this chart is the base model with the smaller battery, this really can’t be true…
Chart does a good job showing why I still (unfortunately) would not buy an electric car. Range is too low.
Maybe in 5 years we’ll be there.
Who ever says range tests should be at 20mph or 32kmh is a joke lmao 🤣 real world testing range with actual production cars, not modified cars or way lower speed 😂. Always hated how they got away with this for years.
downvoted for the miles but then read the explanation. sorry : ))
Where are the Chinese cars?
