Along with the NHTI women’s soccer team’s run to the national championship, many of the school’s athletes received recognition for their success this fall.

The Lynx’s men’s cross country team won a second-place title at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship — its best finish in school history.

Eli Lemire, the defending individual national champion from Weare, was named a member of the USCAA All-American team.

“Eli has really been an inspiration to us as a team all year and is the caliber of athlete that rivals, and in some metrics surpasses, some of the best we have ever had at this school,” said head coach Graham Hayslip. “I am looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish in the Spring.”

NHTI hosted the Yankee Small College Conference women’s volleyball regional championship. The Lynx team finished runner-up with Emma Bernard from Barrington being named the tournament’s Outstanding Offensive Player.

The Lynx men’s golf team had another strong performance at the USCAA championships. Concord graduate Aiden Boule finished in third place and was named a First Team All-American, while Hopkinton’s Bronson Ammann was named National Long Drive Champion.

The NHTI basketball teams have started their seasons, as well. The men’s team will look to improve on its 5-16 record from last season, while the women’s team tries to right the ship after a 2-12 finish last year.
