ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – Re-Entry Solutions is asking for the community’s help in supporting this year’s turkey giveaway.
The nonprofit has shared that its primary sponsor has backed out, leaving them unable to meet needs.
If you are able to donate, they have secured a discount for turkey donations, whether it’s a turkey, a financial donation or other food items.
Donations can be dropped off at Re-Entry Solutions at 1617 Branch Street in Alexandria. The deadline for these donations is Nov. 20.
Re-Entry Solutions said their annual turkey giveaway has been a vital tradition, providing a warm meal and a sense of connection during the holiday season and a beacon of hope for the residents of the Sonia Quarters.
