The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) has begun work to convince Swiss talent Adrien Lluke, who is Bastien Thomas’ cousin, at least that’s what the Swiss media outlet “20min.ch” reports.
Llukes is the most in-form player in Switzerland U17, who plays in several positions, namely as a striker, central midfielder, number 10, 8 or even on the wings.
Popular Swiss newspaper reports that Kosovo has contacted Llukas to convince him to join the “Dardans”, however, the response is currently negative.
“Llukes has a dual Swiss-Kosovar passport and has played for FC Sion since childhood, like his cousin Bastien Toma.”
“The young Swiss talent made his second league appearance for Sion against Grasshoppers in October. That was the moment he was noticed by the Football Federation of Kosovo.”

“After a short period, officials from the Kosovo Federation contacted him and tried to convince him to change the national team, as they did with Leon Avdullah and Albian Hajdari. However, this is not an option for the U17 hero, partly because the Swiss Federation has been working behind the scenes to prevent this scenario.”
Llukes is currently focused on the quarterfinals of the European Championship, where they face Portugal.
“We are a good group, we have grown together and let’s see what happens. The goal is to beat Portugal too,” he said.
It remains to be seen whether the 17-year-old will follow the path of Hajdar and Avdullah in leaving the “Helvets” and moving to Kosovo.Telegraph/
