MFA confirms death of Kosovo citizen in Serbia, hit by train

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has confirmed the death of Kosovo citizen Selim Voca, who lost his life after a train accident in the city of Aleksinac, Serbia.
Voca was reported missing by his wife at the South Mitrovica police station on November 19. According to official information, his body is currently at the Niš Hospital.
The MFA says it has been coordinating with relevant Kosovo institutions to enable the body’s return to the country as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the Liaison Office of the Republic of Kosovo in Serbia is staying in constant contact with the family and Serbian authorities to provide the necessary assistance and facilitate all procedures.
The Ministry emphasizes that Kosovo institutions will take any action required to handle the case with seriousness and urgency.
