Alongside the Police Athletic League, coaches, and local families, Hamlin’s team helped giveaway turkeys and fixings to 183 families across the city of Buffalo. The event was hosted at the Hennepin Community Center in Buffalo’s Lovejoy neighborhood.

“Growing up, you know, my family could have x-amount of problems going on. Nobody’s life could be perfect, but you know, just being able to get together with family for a little bit of moment and escape that reality of life truly was something that I enjoyed the most about my childhood. So, you know, just trying to create that feeling for the kids here in Buffalo,” Hamlin told 2 On Your Side.

Hamlin’s charity focuses on the development, health and safety of kids through sports, engagement activities, and training. To learn more about Chasing M’s Foundation, visit their website.
