Iran–Lebanon Cultural Relations to Expand

    He added that cultural relations play a vital role in deepening mutual understanding, strengthening international relations, and building bridges of dialogue and acceptance. He stressed the need to enhance and expand cultural cooperation with Iran’s Cultural Mission in Lebanon.

    Tribute to Imam Musa Sadr’s Legacy

    Mortazavi praised the Amal Movement and the discourse inspired by Imam Musa Sadr, describing it as a unifying force. He expressed hope that this relationship would serve as a bridge connecting all segments of Lebanese society and fostering deeper cultural understanding.

    The Iranian Cultural Attaché also announced readiness to mobilize Iran’s cultural resources to strengthen ties between Lebanon and the Islamic Republic. He recalled the legacy of Martyr Commander Mostafa Chamran as a shining example of the deep-rooted connection between Imam Musa Sadr’s thought and the Islamic Revolution of Iran, which was led by Imam Khomeini and is now guided by Ayatollah Khamenei.

    Future Cooperation

    At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to draft an annual cultural program to be prepared by Amal’s cultural office and implemented in cooperation with Iran’s Cultural Mission.

    Mortazavi proposed that this cooperation include organizing a religious and intellectual gathering in Lebanon, featuring Iranian Quran reciters, tawasheeh groups, and eulogists.
