  1. This would be more useful to me if I knew, without looking it up, what a supercentenarian was. Perhaps people who specialize in demographics are familiar with the term, but I wasn’t. Also, as is often the case with this kind of thing, you must include whether this means worldwide, in the United States, or in some other geographic area.

    Per capita would be interesting. Seems like it hasn’t kept up with population growth.

  3. i remember seeing something about how it’s possible many super centenarians aren’t actually that old but just don’t remember their age and lack of birth certificates.

  4. Very interesting that the number of men is basically constant, but the number of women has a clear upwards trend
