The Matildas take on New Zealand at polytec Stadium in Gosford on Friday November 28 and then in Adelaide on Tuesday December 2 in two international friendlies as Joe Montemurro continues his preparation for March’s Asian Cup on home soil.

After an October window that saw the Tillies beat Wales 2-1 but lose 3-0 to England in the UK, there is much for Montemurro to continue to work on in the final hitout on home soil before the tournament begins.

The window provides an opportunity for Sam Kerr, who captained the side against England, to play on home soil again for the first time in nearly two years.

Veteran Brisbane Roar midfielder Tameka Yallop’s inclusion was the biggest change in the squad from the last window, while Charlie Grant has been ruled out through injury since the squad announcement, replaced by Brighton & Hove Albion’s Charlize Rule.

Who is in the squad?

Goalkeepers: Mackenzie Arnold, Chloe Lincoln, Teagan Micah
