The Swiss Federal Criminal Court has sentenced two men to 30 and 53 months in prison for allegedly “supporting the terrorist organization Islamic State.”
As they report local media, reports the Telegraph, the Attorney General’s Office had requested higher sentences.
According to the report, the Criminal Chamber acquitted the two men of the charge of participation in a terrorist organization for their activities within the framework of the alleged Kosovo terrorist group “Brothers of Viti” and its Swiss branch in Geneva.
Thus, Swiss media point out, a Kosovar must serve 15 months of a 30-month sentence. In addition, the court ordered that he be deported for five years.
