New Zealand international defender Bill Tuiloma is the latest special guest on The Unused Subs, the weekly online show about New Zealand football.
Tuiloma has become a free agent after leaving Major League Soccer club Charlotte, and talks about his recent outings with the All Whites against Ecuador and Colombia, the ‘fun’ of facing off against Luis Diaz, the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the disappointment of failing to qualify in 2022.
He tells how his football journey started on Auckland’s North Shore and took him to Marseille, where he played for ‘El Loco’ Marcelo Bielsa, and then to the United States for eight years.
Tuiloma (30) has played 47 games for the All Whites after representing New Zealand at U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels.
