Queen Letizia leaned into a core fall boot trend on Wednesday as she arrived in Tudela, Navarra, Spain to honor filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar. She attended a screening of “Mar adentro” and a tribute for the Spanish filmmaker.
For her footwear, Queen Letizia went with a classic silhouette that’s a staple for this time of year. She opted for taupe boots with an almond-shaped toe. A thick block heel reaching under 2 inches grounded the pair. The boots were covered in a soft suede material, which has been trending as of late.
Suede boots have been a popular choice now that the weather is getting chillier. Besides Queen Letizia, several other style stars have been wearing their own versions lately. Kate Hudson wore a chocolate suede pair to her “Song Sung Blue” screening last month, and Brooke Shields styled an over-the-knee pair to the Citymeals on Wheels 38th Annual Power Lunch earlier in November.

Queen Letizia paired her boots with a preppy ensemble, wearing a soft green sweater under a plaid blazer with pops of pink, burgundy and the matching green. She added cream wide-leg trousers and accessorized with simple earrings and a white bag.

Queen Letitiza has built a tried-and-true wardrobe for herself over the years, assembling a collection of clothes and shoes from a handful of beloved brands. She has become known to recycle some of her favorite pieces, like her Sézane Paula Babies and Massimo Dutti slingbacks.
