Heavy snow in Bodo: the town is isolated and the airport is closed, Giorgio Chiellini and Damien Comolli are stranded in Sweden. They are on their way to Norway by car.
Problems for Giorgio Chiellini and Damien Comolli during their arrival in Norway for the Bodø/Glimt-Juventus match, which will be played at 21:00 p.m. The two leaders were unable to arrive in Bodo by plane, but were forced to land in Sweden, from where they left by car around 16:00 p.m.
During today and yesterday, snow fell heavily on the Norwegian city, so much so that the Youth League match was suspended for 20 minutes, before it resumed and ended with a score of 6-2 in favor of Juventus.
These critical weather conditions led to the closure of the airport and forced the CEO and Director of Football to find an alternative solution.
The flight of Chiellini and Comolli, who were not part of the delegation travelling with the team, was due to arrive in Bodo around lunchtime. But, at that very moment, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the airport was closed.
The small town above the Arctic Circle was forced to close its only runway, forcing the two-man flight to land in another city. /Telegraph/
