Juventus have recorded their first win in the Champions League group stage, triumphing 3-2 in a dramatic and emotional match against Bodo/Glimt in the fifth round of the league stage.

The Bianconeri suffered, took risks and survived several major interventions by the opposing goalkeeper, but in the end they showed character and achieved three vital points.

The Norwegian team started the match better, putting Juventus under constant pressure. In the 27th minute, after a corner kick, Hogh headed the ball to Ole Blomberg, who sent the ball into the net for 1-0, exploding the atmosphere in the stadium.

Juventus responded with two good chances for Francisco Conceição and Vasilije Adzic, but goalkeeper Nikita Haikin proved to be unbeatable, keeping the home team in the lead until the break.

The second half started with Spalletti’s changes and Juventus immediately found the equalizer in the 48th minute. Lois Openda reacted best to a rebound and shot accurately into the right corner for 1-1.

Just a few minutes later, in the 54th minute, Juventus scored again through Fabio Miretti, who finished from close range after a beautiful combination. But the joy did not last long – VAR intervened and the goal was disallowed for offside.

However, Juventus did not stop and in the 59th minute, Weston McKennie took advantage of a brilliant assist from Miretti to head home and restore the lead, this time without hindrance from VAR for 2-1.

In the 84th minute, Juan Cabal gave away an unnecessary penalty, which Sondre Fet calmly converted to make it 2-2. Initially it appeared that there was no foul, but after a VAR review, referee Makkelie upheld the decision.

The match erupted in tension and emotion, but Juventus managed to strike at the decisive moment. In the 90+1 minute, after a chaotic action in the area, the ball was deflected and ended up in the hands of Jonathan David, who pushed it into the net for 3-2, restoring the black and whites’ lead.

In the final minutes, Juventus could have scored the fourth goal with Edon Zhegrova, but goalkeeper Haikin made a super save, keeping the home team’s hopes alive until the final seconds.

With this triumph, Juventus secures its first victory in the group and is now in 21st place with 6 points. /Telegraph/
