Shreveport’s own Max Chambers is in the running with three other contestants to perform at the Rose Parade, an annual event in Southern California on New Year’s Day.
Chambers sang “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” by Stevie Wonder during the Knockout round and was chosen to move on to the Playoffs, which start on Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. Bublé also decided to use the new feature, “Mic Drop,” on Chambers.

For this Knockout round, there were no saves or steals from the other judges, but an added feature called “Mic Drop,” where each coach could select one performance that went above and beyond. Among those four, America can vote for which artist gets to sing in the New Year’s Day Rose Parade, according to NBC.
The vote opened after the final episode of Knockouts Monday and is open until Friday at 6 a.m. so there’s still time to cast your votes here or through the app.
