Dukagjini Academy, with the initiative “Successful Practices in Teaching and Learning”, is positioning itself as one of the most important in the field of education in Kosovo, aiming to become a center of excellence for the professional development of educational employees.

With a clear vision for promoting pedagogical innovation and improving contemporary teaching and learning methods, this academy aims to directly influence the increase in the quality of education in the country.

Professor Bardhyl Musai, during the unveiling of the “Successful Practices in Teaching and Learning” initiative, emphasized its importance by focusing on the active role of teachers in the professionalization process.

“This is an initiative that aims to empower teachers. They have results in their work, they have successful practices, but they often do not make them public. Now this initiative starts from the participants themselves who will present their best practices to their colleagues, through a selection process.”

He added that the spread of successful practices will significantly contribute to increasing the quality of education in Kosovo.

“By increasing the exposure of these practices, we influence the improvement of education. It is not a simple movement, but a movement that empowers teachers and builds professional communities in schools.”

According to Professor Musai, this initiative will be annual and will last about four to five months each year, keeping teachers’ creativity and innovation alive.

The application for this initiative will be open for one month, until 26.12.2025 at 16:00.

The executive director of the Dukagjini Academy, Blerim Muhaxhiri, emphasized that this academy comes as a non-profit organization, whose mission is the development of education at all levels.

“The Academy has come up with its own idea, vision and mission for the development of education. It is a non-profit organization that aims at training, scientific research and various projects, always focusing on teachers and students.”

He emphasized that the “Successful Teaching and Learning Practices” project will be annual, but the academy is expected to develop other projects in the coming years.

She expressed her gratitude for this initiative, which she sees as an important opportunity for teachers.

“I am very pleased that the Dukagjini Publishing House is undertaking such a positive challenge that will greatly impact the work of teachers. Even those who were not present today will have the opportunity to be part of such practices.”
