Retail sales in Slovenia climbed by 2.2% year-on-year in October 2025, following an upwardly revised 1.7% rise in the previous month.

This marked the largest retail activity since June, as non-food products increased (4.3% vs 0.1% in September).

On the other hand, activity growth slowed for automotive fuel in specialized stores (4.7% vs 7.7%), while sales declined for food, beverages, and tobacco (-1.1% vs 0.7%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail sales grew by 0.9% in October from an upwardly revised 0.1% gain in the preceding period.
