I received a notification about a penalty worth €46 – I parked incorrectly. I parked in the embassy parking lot – marked in the picture, according to the app it looked like zone B starts there and you can park, but nothing.
Has anyone had to appeal the sentence?

Tas, ka bolt aplikācija rāda, ka tur var atstāt mašīnu nenozīmē, ka nav jāpievērš uzmanība CSN parkojoties.

The Bolt app is shit and doesn’t make it clear. That said, I’m surprised none of the police asked you to move on before you parked. You won’t be able to appeal though, Bolt will refuse to appeal on your behalf. If you want, you can lodge a complaint with the police asked to their obstruction in allowing you to appeal (make sure you appeal through Bolt first which will be denied) – they’ll take a statement and add it to the rest, at some point it will pass a threshold and they’ll do something proper… unlikely.
