The Macedonian opposition party SDSM says the Government admitted that it has not filed a new extradition request for convicted former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
SDSM says that “this admission is a direct confirmation of everything they have said.”
“The admission destroys any excuse they have and reveals the true connection between the OBRM-PDUKM and Nikola Gruevski. Mickoski’s government has been captured by a fugitive from justice, who dictates from a foreign country what should happen in Macedonia. From Budapest, Nikola Gruevski is the real center of decision-making in the OBRM-PDUKM, Mickoski is only his executor.”
“This is also evident in the political steps he has taken, the abuse of state institutions for party purposes, the abuse of the police, ASK, DAP, inspections. Attack on independent institutions, political persecution of the opposition, international isolation, blocked reforms, reduction of media freedom. A copy of the matrix of their mentor Nikola Gruevski,” say the SDSM.
