Two Kosovo footballers, Lindon Emërllahu and Meriton Korenica, are shining with their performances in Cluj, becoming among the most important players of the Romanian team.
Their good form has not gone unnoticed, as according to reports from the Romanian media ProSport, an MLS club, specifically DC United, has expressed interest in them.
According to ProSport, most attention has been directed at Meriton Korenica, who has impressed American leaders with his qualities.
“Officials of the MLS club like the physical and technical qualities of the 28-year-old, who they see as an option to transfer in the winter transfer window,” writes the Romanian media outlet.
Korenica joined Cluj last summer and has had a huge impact on the team this season, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.

If DC United takes the step to sign the Kosovar midfielder, Cluj is expected to benefit from a significant financial sum, due to his form and impact on the team.
On the other hand, Cluj’s owner, Nelutu Varga, has stated that he is not informed of any concrete offer.
“Honestly, I don’t know. I’m in Dubai and I haven’t been told anything about this,” he said.
DC United’s interest comes at a time when both Korenica and Emërllahu are showing continued growth and are attracting the attention of clubs outside of Europe.Telegraph/
